We’re Hiring – Kitchen Showroom Sales Coordinator

Silkwood Kitchens & Interiors  has an opening for a full-time Kitchen Showroom Sales Coordinator. 


Location: Stonyhills, Ware, Hertfordshire

Employment type: Full-Time, Permanent

Salary:  Basic salary £20-22,000 + Bonus scheme (OTE: £30,000)  Depending on experience.

Hours:  40 hours per week, Mon – Fri, + working  1 out of 3 Saturdays (weekday off in lieu)

Silkwood Kitchens & Interiors Ltd is a bespoke kitchen design and furniture manufacturer based near Ware, Hertfordshire.  We’re currently recruiting for a Kitchen Showroom Sales Co-ordinator to join our busy team.

You’ll be responsible for spending time with customers in our showroom, who are looking to purchase a fitted kitchen or bespoke furniture, to guide them through their entire buying process. You will be responsible for the extensive showroom display showing all our kitchen ranges and styles. Here you will demonstrate the quality of our in-house made product, along with recommendations for appliance, sink & tap and worktop selection. You will have an eye for the latest interior design trends and a flair for the aesthetic.

This client information, along with details of the customer’s project, will be interpreted into a rough layout and estimate price, to help the customer through the first stage of the buying process. You will liaise with the sales team and provide this information to the sales designers. You will also liaise with the installations team for continued client feedback and customer service.


This position will ideally suit someone with previous experience of kitchen design and planning, within the kitchen, bedroom and bathroom industry. Knowledge of Articad 3D CAD planning software, or equivalents, will be a distinct advantage.

You will definitely have been involved with a customer facing role and have an appreciation of the importance of listening to clients needs, asking appropriate questions and discovering their project needs.


  • Exemplary customer service and client facing skills.
  • Competent with MS Office suite, especially Excel.
  • Knowledge of Articad/CAD software a distinct advantage but not essential.
  • Administration skills for orderly upkeep of client files.
  • Liaising with our sales team and installation department.
  • Aesthetic and design appreciation.
